Last night saw the 51st Annual NSPCC Carol Concert in Faringdon. Hundreds of people packed into All Saints' Church to join in the traditional carol and to hear performances from the local Beavers, Cubs, Brownies, Guides and Army Cadets, as well as children from Faringdon's Infant and Junior School and Faringdon Community College.

Following an appeal from the Swindon & North Wiltshire NSPCC coordinator highlighting the 30th anniversary of Childline the event raised £845.

As ever the huge support for the event from local people means that the carol concert is still going strong after more than half a century with more and more groups taking part each year.
