Nominate a local business for a prestigious award 

Vale of White Horse District Council want your nominations for the V4B Awards for local business. 

Anyone can nominate a business for one or more awards:

  • Royds Withy King Large Business of the Year
  • New Business of the Year
  • Innovation Award
  • Small Business of the Year
  • Social Responsibility Award
  • Business Space of the Year
  • Business Leader of the Year
  • Employer of the Year

Councillor Mike Murray, Cabinet Member for regeneration, economic development, and property said, “We know the region has a fantastic variety of businesses operating in science parks, from homes, within villages and market towns.  We want to hear from as many people as possible about businesses, leaders and employers who are deserving of one or more awards.” 

The Vale4Business team, who support businesses in the district, is organising the awards to celebrate the achievements of local businesses, recognising and rewarding local excellence and success stories. 

The lead sponsor of the V4B Awards 2018 is Royds Withy King, a UK top 100 law firm.  Simon Bassett, Lead Partner at the organisation said, “When Royds Withy King was asked to be the lead sponsor of the Vale Business Awards, we jumped at the chance.  Oxfordshire is a successful and dynamic region with a highly skilled workforce and a diverse range of successful businesses, some of whom are leading the world in terms of science, research and innovation.  The Royds Withy King Large Business of the Year recognises business that have excelled in their sector and can demonstrate a commitment to their local community.” 

The V4B Awards 2018 other sponsors are Whistle, a creative communications organisation who are sponsoring the award design and The Plastic Goldfish Company are photographic sponsors.  

If you’d like to nominate a business based in the Vale of White Horse District Council area or sponsor an award, please contact the Vale4Business team on [email protected]. 

Businesses can apply for direct for the awards by visiting www.vale4business.com/v4bawards.  Nominations are open until 1 February 2018.
