Last chance to nominate a local business for a prestigious award

People have until 1 February to nominate a local business for this year’s Vale of White Horse District Council’s V4B Awards.  

The awards are open to all businesses based in the district council area and anyone can nominate a worthy organisation for one or more awards:

  • Royds Withy King Large Business of the Year
  • Inca Caring Accountancy Small Business of the Year
  • Action Coach Award for Business Leader of the Year
  • Bluestream Recruitment Award for Social Responsibility
  • MSC RND Award for Innovation
  • Biffa New Business of the Year
  • Harwell Campus Business Space of the Year
  • Capita Employer of the Year

The district council’s Vale4Business team is organising the awards to celebrate the achievements of local businesses, recognising and rewarding local excellence and success stories.  

Councillor Mike Murray, Cabinet Member for regeneration, economic development, and property, said “This is the first year we’ve run the awards and we urge everyone to get involved and send us their nominations for all the excellent organisations we know we have in our area before the 1 February deadline.” 

The lead sponsor of the V4B Awards 2018 is Royds Withy King, a UK top 100 law firm.  Simon Bassett, Lead Partner at the organisation said, “When Royds Withy King was asked to be the lead sponsor of the Vale Business Awards, we jumped at the chance.  Oxfordshire is a successful and dynamic region with a highly skilled workforce and a diverse range of successful businesses, some of whom are leading the world in terms of science, research and innovation.  The Royds Withy King Large Business of the Year recognises business that have excelled in their sector and can demonstrate a commitment to their local community.” 

Nominate now via www.vale4business.com/v4bawards.  Nominations close on 1 February 2018.
