My plan to tackle business crime

business

Crime doesn't just affect individuals. Criminals targeting businesses in Thames Valley cause substantial financial harm, loss of equipment and employment and can all too often threaten staff and employers.

Whether you're a small rural business, a tech entrepreneur, or on the retail front line, protecting your business matters.

With finite resources the police and the Police & Crime Commissioner need to work closely to businesses, and representative organisations, to deter crime as well as investigating and apprehending those responsible.

A stronger approach to "neighbourhood crime" will see a sharper focus on the issues that matter to many local businesses, tackling issues such as vehicle crime, antisocial behaviour and robbery. At the same time Thames Valley's Serious Organised Crime Unit needs to focus on issue such as commercial waste crime and online fraud.

Please take a few moments to complete my business survey to let me know your concerns. https://www.matthewbarber.co.uk/businesscrimesurvey
